Ms. Castillo administers supervised ministry for seminarians, other graduate students and students in the program of Continuing Education in Pastoral Studies. She recruits and assists ministry sites and supervisors, enabling them to effectively guide students in pastoral education. She teaches students and supervisors in matters related to supervision and theological reflection, and coordinates theological reflection seminars.
Ms. Castillo is a member of the Seminarian Formation Team, which guides students in priestly formation, and provides input to the faculty. Likewise for commuters earning a degree, she works collaboratively with the Director of Ministerial Development and the Assistant Academic Dean to provide guidance to students and input to the faculty.
Her particular background in community-based organizations is reflected in the Central City Practicum summer graduate level immersion experience in Buffalo.
