In this week’s reading from his letter to the Ephesians, St. Paul talks about God being rich in faithful love for us.
“It is through His "grace" that we have been "saved," He writes. He "raised us up with him" and gave us a "place with him in heaven" through Jesus Christ.
Paul is affirming that the love of God has prepared all these things for us in advance, noting that we are "created in Christ Jesus for good."
When we are having a bad day - when life gets confusing and difficult - reflect on Paul's words. God is rich in faithful love for us. Remembering that can be a source of great comfort and hope which will help to see us through.
