Jesus chose a life as an itinerant preacher, teacher, and healer. That choice had, at its center, a desire to know and fulfill God's will. That choice confirmed that Jesus would never be alone and that He would always be doing God's work. Such loyalty to God's will meant that even death could only bring resurrected life. Jesus blesses us with His choice. We, in turn, are called to honor God's will with choices which bring us into that same resurrected life and love.
Like Jesus, we can pray and ask God to help us in making decisions. His answer may not always be the easiest choice, but by following the example of Jesus, we can be sure it is the right choice.
