So often people ask, "How are you doing?" And the typical answer is, "I'm doing good." This Easter season is the perfect time to reflect on that question and to ask ourselves are we really "doing good"?
Are we acting like Jesus Christ and doing good works for others? Are we helping the poor? Caring for the sick? Visiting the lonely?
In chapter 10 of the Acts of the Apostles we are reminded that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power. He "went about doing good", for God was with Him.
God will also be with us when we choose to follow the example of Jesus. We can choose today to do something to help a friend, co-worker, or even a stranger. And when we do, we can rightly say, we are "doing good".
