We live in a society of excess and over-abundance. Super-sized meals. Oversized luxuries. The latest and largest gadgets.
In our pursuit of having enough of the biggest and the best we may lose sight of true and lasting abundance – the lavish love and life-giving presence of our gracious God.
This week's readings remind us of this true treasure of abundance found in our relationship with God. Signs of God’s abundance surround us, in the beauty of creation in the love we share with family and friends and with our vibrant faith communities.
The precious and abundant gift of God’s love is to be treasured and shared freely with others in a spirit of gratitude, knowing God provides all that we need each day.
