Faith Moment Generosity 2

Transcript of audio:

Would you call yourself a generous person?

This week's readings center on God's never-ending generosity. He is the bread of life and gives us everything we need. In return, we are called to be the “bread” for one another.

We can share and spread God's generosity through ordinary acts in our everyday lives. Through caring, compassion, patience, prayer and love. You see, being generous does not just mean sharing material things.

Ultimately, we find God's generosity through a relationship with Him and, for Christians, with Jesus, trusting and believing in the promise of eternal life. With God, we will never hunger and will never thirst.

So be generous. Following the example of Jesus is what will lead us to true and lasting satisfaction.
