Some people think being humble means you're weak. In this week's readings, we are reminded that just the opposite is true.
Jesus was both humble and strong. It was through His humility and service to others that Jesus did God's will and showed us the way to eternal life.
Our own humility can be a great source of strength in facing the challenges of life. Humbly serving others takes our focus away from our own problems and gives us the resolve to keep going and to do what God has planned for us.
We will be given the strength we need when we follow the example of Jesus as a humble servant and live and love for God.
