Faith Moment Knowledge 1

Transcript of audio:

How well do you know God?  Do you have a relationship with Him?  When was the last time you read His book, the Holy Bible?

The Bible and the scriptures contained in it are God’s gift to us. They intend to teach and encourage us to understand God, and to think and live in harmony with one another. When we read the Scriptures, we gain knowledge of God, knowledge that is not informational, but transformational. By meditating on God’s Word in the Bible, we learn to recognize and eliminate destructive behaviors and attitudes within us, and replace them with positive, life-giving choices on our journey.

As we grow in our understanding of God, we express that knowledge in the way we treat others.

We can all strive toward equality and lasting peace. The Scriptures are a great window through which we can see how to accomplish this goal.
