What's Love Got To Do With It?
Join us this Valentine’s evening as we explore ways to nurture our marriages amid all the demands of everyday life. By active choice we can live lives that are love-centered and directed by God’s grace.
The evening will include: * Candlelight dinner * Presentation * Couples’ time * Eucharist & renewal of vows *
Married in Lima, Peru, on August 9th 1974, Dan and Irma O’Connor have three children and one grandchild. Irma has taught grade school, high school, college and adult education and has taught the last 14 years in NYS Correctional Facilities. Dan is currently a Supervising Counselor at Attica Correctional Facility.
Dan and Irma have been an administrative couple for Pre-Cana preparation and have run Heart to Heart Workshops (www.hearttoheartworkshops.com) for the past nine years for couples who want to learn effective communication, problem-solving and confiding techniques. Dan and Irma are Certified Level 3 Instructors who have been trained by the PAIRS Foundation, a national organization that provides practical relationship education to couples.
Monsignor James E. Wall will preside and preach at the Eucharistic Celebration and lead the married couples in a renewal of their marriage vows.
