Morning radio in Buffalo is getting a bit more inspirational with the expansion of “Faith Moments,” 60 second messages of faith and hope, which now air five days a week at about 7:40 a.m., effective Monday, July 7, on WBEN Radio (930 AM). Presented by Christ the King Seminary, “Faith Moments” are also available on

“We are grateful to the Bishop’s Council of the Laity for funding the expansion of this important program,” said Father Joseph C. Gatto, President-Rector of Christ the King Seminary. “This is an innovative evangelization tool for the Catholic Church, using a thought-provoking message to reach people in their homes, their cars, the workplace and online. We’re taking Christ’s message of love to the places people live and work.”

Previous “Faith Moments” presenters include Bishop Richard J. Malone, Bishop of Buffalo, Father Gatto, parish priests and deacons, Seminary faculty and lay alumni from throughout the Diocese of Buffalo.

“Faith Moments,” made possible through a grant from the Bishop’s Council of the Laity of the Diocese of Buffalo, originally aired three days a week.
