Continuing education classes include Catholic Catechism and Year of Faith offerings
Published Friday, January 11, 2013

A wide range of classes in theology, pastoral studies, scripture and more will be offered in Christ the King Seminary’s spring continuing education classes, which begin Jan. 24.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church will examine the fundamental teachings of the Catholic faith. The New Evangelization – Awaken Faith, Reach Out, Make Faith Matter Again will explore new methods for sharing the faith.  The latter is part of the local offerings for the “Year of Faith” now being observed by the Catholic Church world-wide.  Other courses include Sacraments and the Life of the Church, Mary in Art and field education practicums in social justice, prison ministry, marriage preparation and more.  Instructors are from the seminary faculty, department heads from the Diocese of Buffalo and parishes leaders.
