Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora will host a Valentine’s evening for married couples on Saturday, Feb. 9. The evening will begin with a candlelight dinner, followed by a presentation that will allow couples to explore ways to nurture their marriages amid all the demands of everyday life. Couple’s time, Mass and a renewal of wedding vows will round out the evening.
Leading the presentation will be Dan and Irma O’Connor. Married for 38 years, the O’Connor’s operate Heart to Heart Workshops (www.hearttoheartworkshops.com ) for couples who want to learn effective communication, problem-solving and confiding techniques. Msgr. James Wall will preside at preach at the Mass and will lead couples in a renewal of their marriage vows.
