Commencement 2009

Christ the King Seminary's commencement exercises were held on May 8, 2009 in the St. John Vianney Chapel.  (Click on the thumbnails to view larger photos)

Graduates of 2009 and the Seminary’s Faculty and Board of Trustees are led into the chapel by seminarian Bryan Zielenieski.

Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, president of Niagara University, addresses guests at Commencement 2009. Fr. Levesque was presented with a degree of Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa .
Christ the King Seminary’s President-Rector, Rev. Peter J. Drilling, addresses graduates and guests at Commencement 2009.
Most Rev. Edward U. Kmiec, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Buffalo and Chair of Christ the King Seminary Board of Trustees, with recipients of the Masters Degrees. Students either received a Master of Arts in Theology, Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, or Master of Divinity.
Master of Arts in Theology graduate Donald C. Weigel, Jr., stands with Sr. Marion Moeser, Associate Professor, Sacred Scripture, and Dr. Dennis Castillo, Academic Dean, after receiving the Excellence in Sacred Scripture Award.
