"The road is being paved for our future Church and the Seminary offers a strong foundation."
Deacon David E. Clabeaux was ordained a permanent deacon in the Diocese of Buffalo in 2012, received his Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from the Seminary in 2013 and currently serves at his home parish, Queen of Heaven Church in West Seneca. Parishioners for more than 30 years, David and his wife and family have always played an active role at Queen of Heaven. An executive with Buffalo Neurosurgery Group in Buffalo, David says all that he learned in the diaconal program at Christ the King Seminary dovetails with the parish ministry he now experiences as a deacon.
"The model of the Seminary mirrors the parishes of today where priests, deacons and laity work together and ultimately strengthen our diocese," he says. " The road is being paved for our future Church and the Seminary offers a strong foundation."
