Rejoice and Be Glad!  Pope Francis' Plan for Everyday Holiness

Presented by Deacon Donald Weigel

In his latest apostolic exhortation, Pope Francis gives us a meditation on how to respond to Christ's invitation to be saints: to "Rejoice and be glad!" The pope points out that every person has a unique vocation called to by God. What does this holiness look like in our everyday lives? What attitudes and virtues help us to respond to the call of Jesus to be "perfect"? How do we deal with the tension between "everyday holiness" and avoiding mediocrity? Pope Francis has given us a model: will we follow it?

Dinner begins at 5:45 in our main dining room, followed by the lecture at 6:45. Lecture will last about an hour, followed by time for Q&A and discussion.
