How Does Jesus Relate to Moses and the Prophets in the Gospel of Luke?

Presented by Adam Plescia, PhD

In his book Jesus of Nazareth, Pope Benedict begins his reflection on the mystery of Jesus with the book of Deuteronomy and how Jesus fulfills the long awaited hope of a new Moses. This lecture explores the prophetic dimension of Jesus' depiction in Luke's Gospel and proposes ways in which Luke's unique message can be applied in the Church today

Dinner begins at 5:30 in our main dining room, followed by the lecture at 6:30. Lecture will last about an hour, followed by time for Q&A and discussion.
