Christ the King Seminary is a leading graduate school of theology and pastoral ministry recognized for its continuing success in meeting the ever-evolving educational and spiritual needs of the Christian faithful. In addition to our academic offerings, our resources are available for activities such as:
The Seminary campus is situated on 132 acres of pastoral fields, small, spring-fed lakes, and woodlands, adjacent to the Knox Farm State Park, near the Village of East Aurora.
Fifteen buildings - including residence halls, chapel, library, dining complex, classroom building, auditorium, campus center and gymnasium - are clustered amid landscaped open spaces and native woods.
Whether you need a room for a private, personal retreat or meeting space to accommodate a large group, our facilities can meet your needs. Our resources include:
Residence Halls. Each hall has an average of 35 rooms, along with a chapel, small kitchenette, and lounge area. There are four halls available during the academic year and six available during the summer months. Some halls are equipped with private suites with full baths for individuals to experience solitude.
Campus Center. Ideal for larger groups, this building near the lake is suited for confirmation retreats or casual get-togethers. Chairs and tables can be arranged for conference-style meetings and meals, and the patio is ideal for outdoor gatherings.
Meeting & Dining Rooms. Need an off-site gathering space? Our campus includes many meeting rooms to accommodate the size of your group, including classrooms of varying sizes. Our small dining room is suitable for up to 25 people, and our main dining room can hold up to 300. Tables and seating are flexible depending on your needs, and A/V equipment is available.
Auditorium. For large groups up to 400 people, our auditorium offers comfortable seating and a stage for special presentations.
Our campus is home to over 45 mosaic tile images of the saints as well as two very large stained glass walls in the chapel, providing rich artistry to aid in contemplation. Wooded walking trails including Stations of the Cross on the west side of campus offer a special place for prayer and reflection.
The Seminary provides meals and banquets through its catering partner, Personal Touch Food Service. Meals and snacks are available; special events and services can be arranged. Our friendly kitchen staff is prepared to assist with any individual dietary needs.
